The prayer we call “Christ’s priestly prayer,” which was His passionate and
poignant last words of ministry in the presence of His disciples, uttered just hours
before His arrest and sacrificial death, expresses the mission and purpose of why
Jesus lived and died for us, and it is the same mission and purpose for OneHeart
Publications.  Jesus prayed . . .

I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that
they may have the full measure of my joy within them. . . . My prayer is not for them
alone.
(This is for us today.) I pray also for those who will believe in me through their
[the disciples] message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me
and I am in You. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have
sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we
are one: I in them and you in me.  May they be brought to complete unity to let the
world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

What was the main thing, so strongly on Jesus’ heart as He prepared to die?

Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my
glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the
world.

Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know
that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make
you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself
may be in them.”

As we approach the climax of God’s love story here on earth, I believe it is still the
main thing on God’s heart—that we be one in Him and with each other. This is the
vision and mission statement of OneHeart Publications: “Lord, may our hearts be
one.”

Whatever writing or artistic creations that fit within this prayer is what OneHeart
Publications is looking to publish.

                                                       Bless you,
